Free English Lessons: Games and Gaming

Announcing next half term’s topic for Home Made Words free, live English lessons: it’s… Games and Gaming!

Whether you love video games, tabletop games or imaginative play, these free English lessons will help you think about how stories are woven into the games we play. We’ll also practise using language clearly to share information and express opinions, and you’ll have the chance to persuade me that your favourite game is the best one!

All ages welcome. Sessions are planned with reference to KS2 and KS3 English objectives but the focus will be on enjoying language and stories as we share our enthusiasm for games and gaming.

The details:
– Starts 14th April
– Runs for 6 weeks
– Each session goes live twice
– Join the stream on Tuesdays at 2pm or Wednesdays at 10am
– No need to book – just go to my Facebook or YouTube at the right time

Free English lessons run every week during term time – after half term there will be a new topic.
