Zoomwriters - co write a novel on Zoom - weekly workshops on Mon and Tues
ZoomWriters – Online Creative Writing Groups for Children and Teenagers
ZoomWriters is an online creative writing group for children and teenagers aged roughly 9–16.
Each small, friendly group meets weekly on Zoom and works together over the academic year to plan, write and complete a full-length novel. Every participant contributes their own writing, helps shape the plot and characters, and finishes the year as a published co-author of a real book.
The sessions are run by children’s author Robin Price and are designed to make creative writing social, collaborative and enjoyable. They can work particularly well for home-educated young people who enjoy stories but would like the motivation and companionship of writing alongside other young writers.
Groups are small, usually around 5–8 writers.
Parents are welcome to observe sessions, and full safeguarding and participation information is available online.
Age: approximately 9–16
Format: weekly online sessions via Zoom
Cost: £8.85 per session + booking fee
UK-based; open to home-educated children and teenagers across the UK or worldwide. We currently have students in Australia and the USA.
